Shift Lead

Shift Lead – Part Time (30 Hours)

About the Role

  • Location: B&Q Lincoln
  • Hours: Part-time (30 hours/week)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: Full-time equivalent £27,709.50 per annum + Pension + 6.6 Weeks Holiday
  • Job Type: Keyholder position (earliest start 5:00am, latest finish 10:00pm)

This is a key role where you’ll help create a safe, friendly, and efficient shopping environment for millions of customers who rely on B&Q for tools, ideas, and confidence to design their dream homes.


What’s the Job?

Your responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring a positive experience for both colleagues and customers, and maintaining a safe, welcoming store environment. Your key duties will be:

  • Lead store operations – Ensure smooth day-to-day business flow.
  • Deploy Team effectively – Put the right people in the right place to "make every customer count".
  • Customer & colleague liaison – Be the first point of contact for inquiries.
  • Safety compliance – Keep the store and team secure at all times.
