Shift Lead – LINDAL Valve
About the Role
The Shift Lead is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the assigned production or technical area during their shift. This role involves leading and coordinating shift teams, ensuring operational targets are met, resolving operational challenges, and enforcing safety, quality, and company standards. The position acts as the primary link between shopfloor teams and management during the shift.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise shift teams, including:
- Task allocation
- Workload prioritisation
- Staffing coverage
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, and set an example through safe behavior
- Monitor operational performance (output, downtime, quality, KPIs) and implement immediate corrective actions when deviations occur
- Prioritise and coordinate responses to equipment issues, breakdowns, or process disruptions, in collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance
- Oversee proper execution of production, maintenance, and changeover activities as per standards and schedules
- Communicate shift performance, issues, and handover information clearly to the next shift and management
- Support team development through on-the-job guidance, training, and reinforcement of work procedures

Requirements
- Technical or production background in a manufacturing environment
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar lead or supervisory role
- English (A2 – Elementary level or higher)
