Store Assistant Manager (Athletic Sneakers & Apparel)
About the Role
You're passionate about the in-store customer experience and love talking about athletic sneakers, apparel and collecting them. You thrive when leading teams and your ability to naturally engage with diverse customers, resolve issues and inspire others drives success.
As part of a leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales to maximize profits, aligning with division standards and occasionally stepping in when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are unavailable. Your performance will be judged by your ability to hit personal and productivity goals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail experience
- 1+ year retail supervisor experience
- Confident at delivering an elevated customer experience
- Self-motivated with enthusiasm for interacting with customers and athletic products
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, making decisions independently
- Flexible availability—including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Inspire and motivate your team to drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service
- Ensure customer satisfaction through product knowledge, teamwork, and expert sales support
- Meet all sales, merchandising, visual merchandising, and operational expectations
- Achieve personal and productivity goals to uphold store performance
- Act as the bridge between customers, sales teams, Assistant Manager, and Store Manager
- Share product expertise and stay updated on current/cuumepping trends
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
- Uphold store quality and productivity standards
