Key Details
- Salary: £36,231 - £40,640 (assuming good attendance and up to 4 sleep-ins per month)
- Base salary: £30,991 - £35,400 + up to £5,240/year in bonuses (sleep-ins and attendance allowance)
About the Role
This is a vital and deeply rewarding position in a Children’s Home where you will play an essential role in shaping the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). As a Team Leader, you’ll be part of moments of huge small victories—supporting young people in recovering some of their childhood while helping them grow into well-rounded, resilient adults.

Your Success in the Role
Being a Team Leader requires empathy, emotional resilience, and leadership skills. You’ll need:
- A ‘can-do’ attitude—ability to roll up your sleeves and help others.
- Empathy and honesty—pride in caring for young people and colleagues.
- Resilience—ability to navigate challenging situations.
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months).
Training & Development
- A full 4-week induction on our Care Academy to build confidence and skills.
- If you lack a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, we’ll fund and support you in gaining it.
- Opportunities to progress upwards within the organisation, including the ‘Aspire’ future managers programme.
