You’ll lead key initiatives—sales drivers, team development, and store performance—working closely with your General Manager, the Training Team, and Senior Leadership to share insights and shape success. As one of the first employees, you’ll shape the store’s culture, fostering strong connections with regulars while setting the tone for welcoming, positive energy.

Who We’re Looking For
A passionate blend of café culture and people skills, embodying:

- A love for fast-paced, dynamic work, whether in peak hours or high-volume shifts.
- Brand pride: Ability to authentically represent Blank Street to new locals, turning first visits into lasting habits.
What You’ll Own
Your role blends operational leadership, customer focus, and team uplift: key priorities include:
- Crafting and serving world-class coffee, backed by empathy, energy, and authenticity.
- Partnering with your General Manager (GM) and the Training Team to on-board new staff, ensuring they master:
- Menu recipes and processes.
- Standardised service protocols including quality checks.
- Blank Street uniform expectations and consistently positive store vibes.
- Managing key holding duties—opening, closing, and custodial care—while overseeing scheduled cleaning workflows.
- Proactively resolving minor customer issues with positivity and problem-solving ease.
- Store-level strategy: In partnership with operations and marketing, you’ll lead initiatives to:
- Drive foot traffic, new customer growth, and daily sales.
- Boost overall profitability by aligning operations with sustainable practices.
- Cultivate a dedicated, long-term local patron base.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Full-time commitment: 35 hours/week, with availability to work 5 days per week. Must align with operating hours including 2 peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Shift commitments: Available between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM, inclusive of weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible and authorised to work in the UK.
