Sprout is coming to Galway – and we’re looking for Shift Leaders to help shape our very first restaurant here. Our Shift Leaders play a BIG role in shaping how our restaurants feel, for both our team and our customers. You’ll lead the shift from the front, keep things moving, and help create a space where people want to come back (and work in) again and again. This is a role for someone who loves people, leads by example, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-standard environment. Reporting to: General Manager Contract: Full-time Pay: €15–€16 per hour depending on experience and role What You’ll Be Doing Frontline Leader – Help run smooth, happy shifts with strong communication, teamwork, and support across the restaurant. Customer Focused – Create memorable experiences for every guest, turning complaints into comebacks. Team Connector – Build strong relationships, promote open feedback, and help keep the vibe positive and focused. Performance Driver – Spot issues, give real-time feedback, and help the team get better every day. Recognition Champion – Celebrate the wins, call out great work, and foster a culture of appreciation. Clean + Fresh – Own the look and feel of the space — from clean floors to perfect fridge displays and good tunes. Feedback Flow – Actively gather and action customer feedback. Pulse Monitor – Keep an eye on key metrics like NPS to improve customer experience and spot trends. Health & Safety – Be a compliance champion — keeping the team and customers safe. Quality Control – Check portioning, prep and presentation across the line to keep standards high. Who You Are Hospitality-Obsessed – You love making people feel welcome and delivering great service. Inclusive – You help build a culture where everyone feels seen, safe, and supported. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone ready to step up and lead from the front. Here’s what matters most: Good Level of English – You can confidently communicate direction with our team and our customers. Natural Leadership Skills – You lead by example and know how to bring out the best in others. Experience – At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or a similar fast-paced role (outside of Sprout). Curiosity to Learn & Grow – You’re eager to develop your leadership skills and grow your career with Sprout Positive & Reliable – You bring great energy, show up on time, and own your responsibilities.
