Shift Leaders (Pittyvaich)

Shift Leader – Health & Social Care (Full-time and/or Part-time)


About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Shift Leaders to join our care team at Parklands, supporting the wellbeing of residents with respect and dignity. You will need to have completed:** SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care ( including Medication Administration).

As a Shift Leader, you will work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, requiring adaptability, strong leadership, and effective team management to uphold high standards of care.

Work Type:

  • Full-time (Permanent or Fixed Term – Maternity Cover)
  • Part-time (impacted schedules following rotation on days, evenings, nights, and weekends)

Rate: £16.00 - £16.50/hour

Eligibility: ✔️ Must already have right to work in the UK ✘️ Sponsorship for visas is not available

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the care, protection, and overall wellbeing of all residents by:
    • Treating them with respect, dignity, and independence
    • Assisting in safeguarding and protection efforts
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive care environment by addressing issues related to:
    • Staff, residents, relatives, and visitors
    • Effectively manage staff schedules and support care teams
  • Collaborate in care planning and medication administration, documenting observations accurately
  • Conduct physiological measurements and monitor health symptoms
  • Oversee safety and security protocols to ensure a secure environment
  • Provide critical support during palliative care and bereavement for residents and families
  • Mandatory participation in workplace training and Parklands Quality Management System (Q.M.S.) compliance
