Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the 24/7 operation of a hyperscale, mission-critical data centre. Accountable for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure while maintaining maximum uptime and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managed day-to-day shift operations within a live mission-critical environment.
- Led a team of Critical Facilities Engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance support.
- Oversaw the operation and monitoring of HV/LV electrical systems, UPS, generators, cooling systems, BMS, EPMS, and life safety infrastructure.
- Directed incident response, fault diagnosis, and service restoration to minimise operational impact.
- Coordinated planned maintenance, switching activities, and contractor management using robust risk assessment and permit-to-work processes.
- Ensured compliance with health and safety legislation, operational procedures, and industry best practices.
- Managed shift handovers, operational reporting, and escalation of critical events to senior stakeholders.
- Supported commissioning activities, infrastructure upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Promoted a strong safety culture while driving operational excellence and team development.
