Salary

£29,013 p.a. (Additional pay-weighting within the M25 and selected locations.)

Key Responsibilities

A Shift Manager supports the Pub Manager, overseeing daily operations when running shifts. Core duties include:

  • Ensuring pub compliance with company standards and legislation
  • Customer service & cash management (handling queues, upselling and till operations)
  • Team leadership – motivating staff, delegating tasks and resolving problems
  • Operational duties – multitasking across front of house, bar service and kitchen preparations
  • Maintaining standards in cleanliness, product quality, customer experience and venue ambience
  • Task prioritisation & emergency problem-solving

Hours and flexibility

  • 40-hour contracts, flexible shifts (mon-sun)
    • All schedule types—including early, late, front of house, bar and sol absolver's (cleaning store/update facilities)

Note: Shift patterns adjusted on rotation & staffing coverage requirements.
