Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Proactive Production Shift Manager with a strong background in food production management, excellent attention to detail, and a dedication to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The Production Shift Manager will:
- Lead and supervise teams to ensure smooth factory operations, efficient workflows, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a safe working environment by managing risks and promoting compliance with compliance standards.
- Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance across the entire factory.
- Garner quality adherence to meet customer standards, handle complaints and resolution processes, and sign off new product standards.
- Optimise production schedules, working closely with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and schedule fulfilment.
- Manage budgets for component usage, direct labour, utility consumption, and manufacturing consumables—monitoring variances and driving performance improvements.
- Conduct regular reviews and coaching for the team, ensuring adherence to Daily Rituals and Review Processes, maintaining accurate skills matrices, and developing a succession plan.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in food production management, ideally within a factory environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including conflict resolution and team motivation.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability and a commitment to proactive, result-driven performance.
- GMP and quality assurance knowledge (a strong asset).
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
