The Shift Manager is a part-time, on-site role based at a Domino’s store in Basildon. This role oversees day-to-day store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Coordinating team members
- Organizing task assignments
- Monitoring order flow to maintain efficient service and on-time delivery
- Supporting staff training
- Assisting with handling customer inquiries or concerns
- Helping manage cash handling and basic inventory checks
- Contributing to meeting performance targets
- Reinforcing company policies
- Fostering a positive, inclusive team environment
Qualifications
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, delegate tasks effectively, and support performance during busy shifts.
- Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, problem-solving, and a friendly, professional approach.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple orders, staff schedules, and shift priorities.
- Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and following operational procedures for cash handling and record keeping.
- Commitment to food safety, hygiene standards, and adherence to company policies and health regulations.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or food service, and in a supervisory or key-holder role, is an advantage.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and reliable transportation to the Basildon location.
