Shift Manager

Shift Manager – Join Our Growing Retail Team

About the Role

We recruit as a Retail Assistant, with the option to shift-manage and earn an additional £2 hourly supplement.


Key Responsibilities

Maximise Profit

  • Prioritise customer availability with an intent to sell £1 while saving £1—boosting sales.
  • Follow and execute all strategies agreed upon in collaboration with your line manager.

Engage, Develop & Retain Great People

  • Actively support the Talking Shop Rep in store discussions.
  • Foster team engagement and create an inclusive culture where everyone performs their best.
  • Proactively improve your own skills and share knowledge to help upskill the team.

Required Skills & Experience

✔ Proven retail management or supervisory background—proven ability to lead successfully. ✔ Confident and effective communicator with the entire team—ensuring tasks are completed flawlessly every time. ✔ Strong planner with exceptional shift organisation skills—maximise team contributions. ✔ Balanced feedback provider—help shape colleague performance thoughtfully. ✔ Driven leader—hands-on, high energy with a plan to set the pace and deliver store excellence.
