About Us

Newly Weds® Foods is a leading, privately owned global food ingredients business and has been innovating since 1932. The European division is a market leader in the manufacture of coatings, seasonings, and functional ingredient systems.

Today, Newly Weds® Foods is a world leader in food ingredient technology. A network of R&D, manufacturing, and service facilities around the globe allows us to serve our customers’ needs in more than 68 countries. But despite our size and scope, we’ve continued to be an independent, family-owned business answerable only to the demands of our customers. That’s why we continue to invest in infrastructure, human resources, and capacity to keep pace with our customers’ needs and expectations.

The Role

As a Gluten Free Blend Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our blending operations. Working closely with the Gluten Free Manager, you will coordinate shift activities, supervise production operatives, and ensure products are manufactured safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a working supervisor role, where you will perform the duties of a Production Operative (where the main activities include weighing up, mixing, packing, stacking, and material handling) and you’ll also take full responsibility for the shift, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership and decision-making.

This is a physically demanding role and involves consistently lifting bags, throughout the shift, that weigh up to 25kgs.

The working hours would be a 12-hour continental night shift pattern (the working hours are 7pm to 7am and one week you will be working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the next week you would be working Wednesday and Thursday, and so on).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
