Position: Shift Supervisor

Zapp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic fulfilment centre team. In this role, you are responsible for the overall performance of a Zapp fulfilment centre during your shift, supervise a team of associates to follow efficient processes to optimise customer order fulfilment, reduce stock waste and loss, safeguard assets, and cultivate strong teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the fulfilment centre team during shifts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of customer orders, while monitoring KPIs.
  • Oversee efficient stock management, including receiving, storage, and inventory checks.
  • Provide detailed shift reports to the incoming supervisor.
  • Proactively manage staff resources and resolve any issues.
  • Enforce attendance procedures when necessary.
  • Prioritise and maintain Health & Safety standards.
  • Monitor and report shift performance, escalating issues as needed.
  • Regularly communicate with the Fulfilment Centre Manager to discuss improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing front-line operations teams and achieving demanding performance goals.
  • Background in Food, Retail, Hospitality, Warehouse, or similar fast-paced operational environments.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Ability to confidently and independently lead shifts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work morning, daytime, and night shifts.

Working Arrangement:

5 days at the designated fulfilment centre.
