The role
If you're an organised and customer-focused logistics professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced global environment, we've got the role for you.
We're looking for a Shipping Administrator to join our Service department. Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business, you'll play a key role in coordinating global shipments, ensuring goods are delivered efficiently, accurately and in compliance with international shipping regulations.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating global shipments, machine deliveries, exhibitions to ensure goods are dispatched efficiently and on time.
- Preparing and maintaining shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, export paperwork, customs documentation and returns paperwork.
- Communicating proactively with customers, suppliers and internal teams, providing regular updates on shipments and delivery timescales.
- Monitoring shipments, resolving delays, discrepancies and delivery issues whilst maintaining accurate records and inventory updates.
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve shipping processes, reduce costs and enhance customer service.

Who we're looking for
You'll already have experience in a logistics, shipping or export administration role and be confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of documentation accuracy are essential when coordinating global shipments.
Thriving in a role where no two days are the same, you'll enjoy solving problems, adapting to changing priorities and taking ownership to deliver the best possible outcome. You'll remain calm under pressure and be motivated by providing an exceptional service to both customers and colleagues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business are key to success in this role. Experience of export documentation, customs processes and international shipping regulations would be highly desirable. Above all, you'll enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and continually look for opportunities to improve the way we work while supporting the continued success of our business.
