Eaton's Aerospace Business

Currently located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems.

Our site is undergoing a significant and exciting transformation as we relocate to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus. This state-of-the-art site will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe, marking a new era of innovation and excellence.

Today the prime purpose of the Titchfield site is the design, manufacture and aftermarket support of key fuel system components for the major aircraft manufacturers including Boeing and Airbus. We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. We boast extensive fuel and air system test facilities, facilitating comprehensive testing across a range of conditions with various fuel types.

What You’ll Do

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping Administrator to ensure the timely processing of shipments in accordance with Eaton policies and procedures and in compliance with UK Shipping & Export requirements.

  • Processing Pre-Shippers in ERP system in timely manner.
  • Producing shipment documentation in ERP system/customer portal and associated systems in timely manner.
  • Booking shipments and liaising with designated couriers / freight forwarders.
  • Ensuring all shipments comply with Eaton policies/procedures and quality system.
  • Registering non-UK shipments on a Standard Individual Export License (SIEL) with HM Customs.
  • Raising Dangerous Goods Notes (where trained).
  • Ensuring Shipments & Shipping documentation comply with Export licence requirements – act as final gatekeeper for licence compliance.
  • Confirming Shipments in ERP system after dispatch and ensuring they close properly.
  • Identifying Shipping pipe queries, populating Pipeline Risk report (setting action and owner) providing shipping info to variety of stakeholders on request.
  • Processing accurate release documentation across a wide range of requirements (CAA, FAA, CAAC, CoC, MOD 640, DAIN).
  • Processing Shipments / ASN’s on customer defined portals as required.
  • Filing of all Shipping documentation in line with company requirements.

Qualifications

  • Possesses post-secondary education.
  • Problem solving experience with ability to provide pro-active solutions.

Required Education

  • GCSE education is required and beyond is preferable.

Preferred Certifications

  • Class 9 Dangerous Goods Certification is preferable but not required.

Skills

  • Experience of Export license procedures.
  • Experience within a Shipping Administrator within a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong experience of using and understanding of all MS Office products.
  • Experience of Inward Processing Relief.

Commitment

  • Flexibility in terms of time, we have busy month ends and will require someone to work late or weekend days on occasion, overtime will be paid in this instance.
