Shipping Litigation Solicitor

The Role

This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of shipping and international trade matters, including:

  • Marine casualties
  • General Average disputes
  • Ship sale and purchase transactions
  • Port operations and emergency response situations

Acting for a diverse international client base, you will provide commercially focused advice across a wide range of contentious maritime issues. The caseload is varied and high quality, encompassing:

  • Vessel arrests
  • Admiralty proceedings
  • Unpaid shipping and bunker claims
  • Bill of lading and charterparty disputes
  • English High Court litigation
  • International arbitration

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQE and experience in shipping litigation or maritime disputes. You will possess:
