The Role
This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of shipping and international trade matters, including:
- Marine casualties
- General Average disputes
- Ship sale and purchase transactions
- Port operations and emergency response situations
Acting for a diverse international client base, you will provide commercially focused advice across a wide range of contentious maritime issues. The caseload is varied and high quality, encompassing:
- Vessel arrests
- Admiralty proceedings
- Unpaid shipping and bunker claims
- Bill of lading and charterparty disputes
- English High Court litigation
- International arbitration
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQE and experience in shipping litigation or maritime disputes. You will possess:
