🚢 Shipping & Trade Support | London | Global Physical Trading House

Our client, an established and highly regarded physical trading house with a London head office, is looking for an articulate, quick-learning individual to join their Shipping & Trade Support team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and wants to build a career in the operational and administrative side of international physical trading. Prior experience in logistics or shipping operations is advantageous, but our client is equally open to strong graduates keen to learn the ropes of shipping physical goods across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

You'll provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to a busy trading desk, covering everything from contract documentation to shipment coordination, freight negotiation, and risk management, all while helping the business deliver excellent customer service and protect trading margins.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
