Ffolkes Offshore Limited is looking for both an Aberdeen and Montrose-based Ships Agent to join our growing team.
There are two roles available.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting vessel agency, marine logistics and customer service activity for the offshore maritime and energy sectors. The successful candidate will be proactive, customer-focused and keen to learn, with the confidence to work in a fast-paced operational environment where priorities can change quickly.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting vessel visits, port calls, crew movements and logistics requirements.
- Coordinating vessel requests, purchase orders, equipment, supplies and personnel support.
- Communicating professionally with customers, vessel representatives, suppliers and port stakeholders.
- Using company systems and Microsoft applications to manage operational information.
- Driving company vehicles to vessels, ports and suppliers as required.

Working pattern
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm, with future duty rota weeks approximately every four weeks. Paid overtime may be required, including weekends.

What we’re looking for
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A practical, flexible and proactive approach.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to other ports.
Must be aged 21 or over for company vehicle insurance purposes.
