Job Summary
Assemble and test mechanical systems and components according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Interpret P+ID’s and GA’s to properly complete assembly tasks.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards in accordance with relevant specifications.
- Adhere to company safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and fellow members of staff.

Key Responsibilities
The role includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Ensure the upkeep (Tidiness) of relevant assembly bays or immediate working area.
- Carry out system assembly and test
Pipe runs and layout.
- Offering alternative solutions to system builds.
- Offer alternative parts to use when missing from build.
Assembly and Testing of associated equipment: Butech, Haskel Pumps & Boosters, Haskel APS, RV’s, etching
- Support with any heavy lifting or moving of equipment/systems.
- Ensure that all shopfloor Standard Work Instructions are followed.
- Fill in the Escape and Turnback’s for the month.
- Ensure that Total Preventative Maintenance procedures are followed.
- Cooperate with the employer on health and safety matters.
- Not misuse any equipment that is provided for safety purposes.
- Follow instructions from the employer on health and safety matters and attend relevant health and safety training.
- Report hazards and defects observed in the workplace.
- Comply with the IR health and safety rules.
- Comply with strict PPE requirements.
- Comply with the IR Code of Ethics.
- Complete required IR ethics training.
- Complete required I Hasco training.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
Experience in an Assembly/Production environment.
Key Competencies
- Able to follow precisely P&ID and GA Drawings as well as identify potential issues in the design.
- Ability to offer support and advise to colleagues.
- Computer Literate.
- Time management with the ability to work using their own initiative.
Travel & Work Arrangements
This is a full-time, permanent position based at the Sunderland facility.
