Summary
The position of a Shop Intern requires a person who can follow direction and perform physical tasks. This is a temporary position, and can either be called on for an as-needed basis when additional hands are needed to handle the shop workload, or set on a regular schedule for a limited time. This person will be under the leadership of the Shop Department Lead they are assigned to on the day of work.
Job Requirements
- Physical ability to load & unload trucks
- Basic technical knowledge (able to identify types of equipment, cables, etc)
- Basic repair knowledge (cables, replacing speakers, lamps, etc)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. The intern must be able to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel. The intern is occasionally required to sit. The intern must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
