Shop Sales Assistant – Wurth Ireland

About the Role

  • A database of 8,000+ industrial products via our Limerick logistics centre
  • Over 120,000 additional articles through direct shipment from Germany
  • An expanding network of 21 Trade Outlets across Ireland (with further plans)
  • Our omnichannel strategy, incorporating vending technology, scanners, online sales, and digital marketing

With the largest Salesforce in Ireland (over 90 directly employed Sales Representatives), our focus sectors include: → Automotive Aftermarket → Engineering & Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) → Construction → Renewables → Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Based in our headquarters in Limerick, over 70 support staff span roles like Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Logistics.


We’re now hiring a Shop Sales Assistant to manage our Dungannon store.

Your Mission!

We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in selling and delivering outstanding customer service.

As a Shop Sales Assistant, you’ll:

  • Serve as the friendly face of Wurth Ireland in the Dungannon store
  • Drive shop sales, promote our products and services, and ensure exceptional professionalism at all times
  • Work within a positive, proud team that values collaboration, energy—and fun!

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers through value-driven sales techniques
  • Identify and capitalise on sales opportunities, offering expert product advice and tailored solutions
  • Meet monthly key performance indicators, including sales and margin targets
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-merchandised shop environment
  • Ensure stock levels are up to date and managed efficiently
  • Sustain a safe, security-conscious working space
  • Represent the Wurth brand professionally with attention to cleanliness and presentation

Skills & Experience

Ideal for candidates with:

  • Selling experience, driven to meet goals and excel
  • A people-first personality with exceptional customer service skills and positive can-do energy
  • Dependability, enthusiasm, reliability, honesty, and flexibility
