Shop Volunteer - King Street
Marie Curie charity shops play a vital role in raising funds to support our nurses and the care they provide to people living with a terminal illness and their families.
We’re looking for enthusiastic Shop Volunteers to join our retail team and help deliver a great shopping experience. From fashion and homeware to books and unique finds, our shops offer a wide range of quality donated items, and we need your help to sort, prepare, and sell them.
As a Shop Volunteer, you’ll: • Welcome and assist customers on the shop floor • Operate the till and handle transactions • Sort through donations to find quality items or hidden gems • Prepare stock for sale by checking, hanging, steaming, sizing, and displaying items on the shop floor • Help maintain a clean and tidy shop environment
Whether you’re looking to gain experience, meet new people, or support a cause close to your heart, volunteering in our shops is a rewarding way to make a difference. Young Volunteers Please note: A signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form is required as part of the application process for all volunteers aged 14-17 years
