About Us
Ancient Remedies is a fast-growing natural-health publishing and e-commerce business (The Natural Healing Handbook). Sales run through direct-response funnels (Funnelish) plus a Shopify store, with retention via Klaviyo and a partner agency. Today the store bottlenecks on the founder. This role exists to own the storefront end to end - both keeping the machine running AND making it convert better, month after month.
What You'll Own
Storefront Conversion
- Cart drawer and in-cart upsells (we run UpCart): offers, thresholds, free-gift logic - tuned and tested, not set-and-forget
- PDPs: layout, content blocks, social proof, cross-sells - spot friction in the data, propose the fix, ship it
- Homepage: merchandising, hero rotation, collection logic, seasonal updates
- You won't have a CRO team behind you. We expect critical thinking: bring a hypothesis, make the change, measure it, tell us what happened and what's next.
Platform Operations
- Apps and integrations: install, configure, QA and maintain (UpCart, Gobot, Synctrack, reviews, tracking)
- Tracking and pixels: GTM, Meta/Google pixels, third-party snippets on the store AND our funnel pages - verify events actually fire
- Theme work: liquid-level edits, landing pages, merchandising changes for marketing
- Catalog: products, variants, SKU/version management, pricing updates
- Checkout and Shopify Markets configuration, incl. tax/duty and localization cleanup
- Access management: scoped agency/partner permissions granted same-day
- Being the "how do we do this in Shopify?" person for the whole company

Must Have
- 2-4 years hands-on Shopify ownership of a revenue-generating store (Plus a bonus)
- Can point to PDP / cart / homepage changes you made and what they did to CVR or AOV
- Comfortable in liquid / theme code and the app ecosystem (cart drawer apps a plus)
- GTM + pixel/event implementation experience you can demonstrate
- Has supported a marketing or funnel team before (fast turnaround, clear comms)
- Self-managed, async-friendly remote operator with opinions
Nice To Have
- UpCart or similar cart-drawer/upsell apps
- Funnelish / ClickFunnels exposure
- Basic JavaScript
- Experience working alongside email/retention agencies
