Shopify Developer (Contract / Remote)
At RexCode, we help ambitious brands build fast, scalable, and conversion-focused Shopify stores.
We're looking to grow our network of talented Shopify developers to collaborate on client projects on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to build a long-term working relationship with our agency while working on a variety of exciting Shopify projects.
Please note: This is a contract position, and work will be assigned on a project-by-project basis depending on client demand.

- Building and customising Shopify stores
- Shopify theme development
- Custom sections and features
- Landing pages
- Bug fixing and troubleshooting
- Shopify 2.0 development
- Performance optimisation
- Ongoing client support when required

What we're looking for
- Experience building Shopify stores
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid
- Good understanding of modern front-end development
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines
- Ability to estimate tasks and communicate progress
- Comfortable using modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows where appropriate
You don't need to know everything. If you're passionate about Shopify, enjoy solving problems, communicate well, and consistently deliver quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
Nice to have
- Shopify Plus experience
- Git/GitHub
- CRO or UX knowledge
- Experience working with agencies
- Experience with Shopify APIs or custom app integrations
