Shopper Marketing Manager
Retail Media | FMCG | Commerce Marketing
Salary: £45,000
Location: Hybrid (UK)
Job Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
A leading commerce and retail media agency is looking for an ambitious Shopper Marketing Manager to join its growing retail media team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of shopper insight, media planning, data analysis, and client leadership. You'll work with household-name FMCG brands, helping develop and deliver innovative in-store and retail media campaigns that influence shopper behavior and drive measurable business outcomes.
As a Shopper Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of campaign planning and execution, manage key client relationships, and collaborate with specialists across media, strategy, and analytics functions. This role offers genuine progression and the chance to play a key role in shaping a high-growth offering within the business.
The Role
Reporting into senior client leadership, you will be responsible for managing shopper and retail media campaigns from briefing through to delivery and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Strategy
- Develop shopper marketing and retail media strategies using retailer, consumer, and market data.
- Build integrated campaign plans across in-store and retail media channels.
- Translate client objectives into actionable media recommendations.
- Create compelling presentations and campaign proposals supported by insight and analysis.
- Ensure campaigns align with wider brand and commerce marketing activity.
Campaign Delivery & Management
- Manage campaign timelines, stakeholder communications, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate campaign activation across retail media and in-store environments.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless delivery.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects.

Client Leadership
- Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships through strategic thinking and exceptional service.
- Understand client business challenges and provide informed recommendations.
- Lead performance reviews and present campaign results with confidence.
- Support the development and mentoring of junior team members.
Industry Knowledge
- Stay ahead of developments within retail media, shopper marketing, and commerce.
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for clients.
- Explore new ways of leveraging data, automation, and AI to improve campaign performance.
About You
We're looking for an individual who combines strong commercial thinking with excellent client management skills.
Experience Required
- 2-3+ years' experience within Shopper Marketing, Retail Media, Commerce Media, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing campaigns and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of media planning, activation, and performance measurement.
- Experience working with data to build insights-led recommendations.
- Ability to create impactful presentations and tell a compelling story with data.
