Short-Form Video Creator (Shoot and Edit)
Freelance Contract, Start ASAP, with Potential to Become Ongoing
Need to be available for Hertfordshire/London base with location shoot days
Wild Flower Productions Ltd is hiring a short-form video creator for a social media campaign around a published author investigating a major medical scandal that shaped her own life.
The campaign follows an investigative narrative: the author works through the evidence, the institutions and the women affected. The initial goal is to launch her book and build her platform.
The author is the brand. Your job is to make short-form content that builds an audience around her: serialised vertical episodes, document-led explainers and interview clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

The Role
- Shoot and cut short-form vertical video
- Film with the author on shoot days and self-shoot supplementary content
- Cut interview and archive material into feed-ready clips
- Keep a consistent, recognisable visual style across the campaign
- Respond to what the numbers say: more of what works, less of what doesn't
- Posting, scheduling and community management are handled separately. Your job is the content.

You
- Proven short-form track record. You can show us vertical content you shot and cut that performed, with the numbers
- You know how to build an audience around a person, not just a topic
- Comfortable handling factual material, some of it sensitive
- Fast, clean edit turnaround
