Your Purpose
Based in the London office, this role is responsible for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring activities are efficient and aligned with the organization's goals. Key operational areas include audio and DSP, digital video, broadcast, stage machinery, automation, rigging, theatre lighting, house lighting. The role also involves providing input on new projects and closely monitoring all dry dock processes to ensure continuity across operations. Additionally, it requires maintaining regular daily catch-ups with traveling personnel to stay updated on ongoing activities and support.
Your Impact
- Operational Oversight: Ensures that daily processes run smoothly while monitoring activities to maintain quality standards meeting deadlines and guaranteeing continuity across operations and Dry Dock activities.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues across all operational areas, ensuring minimal downtime and effective problem resolution collaborating with team members and relevant departments to analyse root causes and implement long-term solutions.
- Travelling Fleet Supervisors: Maintains regular catchups with Traveling Fleet Supervisors to ensure schedules align with operational requirements, company standards and guidelines.
- Process Optimization: Analyzes workflows and proposes improvements to increase efficiency and reduces resource waste and unnecessary delays.
- Budget and Resource Management: Plans and monitors operational costs to ensure they stay within budget and collaborates with other departments to ensure effective resource utilization.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provides regular performance reports and identifies issues and proposes data-driven solutions.
- Supplier and Groups relations: Ensures customer technical expectations are met and coordinates with suppliers to maintain a consistent supply of materials and/or services.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensures all operations comply with company standards and reference safety/quality regulations, overseeing the implementation of procedures to minimize risks.
- Communication: Coordinates and implements requests from productions and other colleagues communicating effectively with team members, travelling fleet supervisor, and other stakeholders.
- MSC environment: Demonstrates a strong understanding of MSC products and features, collaborating and communicating effectively with other departments to ensure excellent support is consistently delivered.

- Strong problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
- A minimum of five years' experience in a relevant technical environment.
- Relevant language skills and education.
- Specific certifications and/or technical studies.
- Significant travel required.
