Showroom Host | Receptionist | Front of House

Showroom Host (Oldham) – Full-Time Role

Location: Oldham (essentially working at Holdcroft Motor Group’s dealership in Oldham,Supported by Nissan manufacturing hubs in Crewe)

Salary: £12.71 per hour, plus performance-based bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30


About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as our Showroom Host—the welcoming face of Holdcroft Motor Group and a vital part of our exciting dealership experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a primary impression every time a customer walks through the door and to ensure a seamless, pleasant, and supportive experience from start to finish.


Responsibilities

Your key duties will include:

  • Creating a Positive First Impression

    • Warmly welcoming all visitors, customers, and potential buyers with a friendly, professional, and engaging attitude.
    • Maintaining a customer-focused mindset at all times.
  • Customer Support & Engagement

    • Assisting customers with their queries and concerns, including navigating the dealership, requesting test drives, or providing brochure information.
    • Representing Holdcroft Motor Group’s values and commitment to exceptional customer service.

  • Relationship Building

    • Forging positive interactions with customers to strengthen their connection with us.
    • Supporting colleagues in delivering a seamless, pleasant, and professional showroom experience.
  • Reception Operations

    • Managing incoming phone calls professionally, providing clear and friendly assistance, and directing customers to the right Departments.
    • Answering queries efficiently and ensuring a smooth workflow at the reception desk.
  • Administrative Support

    • Handling paperwork, customer data, and administrative tasks with accuracy.
    • Assisting with showroom operations, such as customer records, logistics, and appointed systems.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent Communication Skills

    • Confident, clear, and empathetic verbal and written communication.
    • The ability to engage politely and professionally with a diverse range of customers.
  • Professional Telephone Matter

    • An approachable yet crisp and efficient way of handling incoming calls and enquiries.
  • Customer Service Experience

    • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within retail, automotive, or reception environments.
    • A proven ability to deliver consistently outstanding service.
