Location: HSL Chairs, Ipswich

Salary: £26,772.20 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

A day in the life of an HSL Showroom Manager

As the leader of your showroom and home visit service (where applicable), you’ll be responsible for creating a warm, professional and supportive environment for both your team and your customers. You’ll take ownership of the showroom’s commercial performance, leading by example and always looking for ways to improve.

A few things you’ll need:

  • Commercial awareness to deliver showroom targets and KPIs, including average order value and customer conversion rate.
  • The ability to manage payments and handle cash in line with company procedures.
  • An awareness of local market conditions and competitor activity.
  • The ability to coach your team in delivering exceptional service standards, product knowledge, upselling and cross-selling to maximise every sales opportunity.
  • Pride in your working environment ensuring your showroom, team and any associated delivery vans reflect the standards of a premium brand.
  • The ability to recruit the right people who represent HSL’s values and provide a high-quality induction and ongoing development.
  • The ability to conduct regular performance reviews, giving feedback and recognising achievements.
  • A passion for people by ensuring a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all colleagues, customers, and visitors.
