Showroom Manager

At Sofa Club, we're redefining the furniture shopping experience. We don't believe in traditional retail, we create inspiring spaces where customers can explore beautiful design, receive expert advice, and enjoy an experience that's every bit as memorable as the products themselves.

We're looking for an exceptional Showroom Manager to lead our Hertford showroom and bring our brand to life through inspiring leadership, commercial excellence, and an outstanding customer experience.

If you're an ambitious retail leader who loves developing people, driving sales, and creating environments that customers genuinely enjoy spending time in, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As Showroom Manager, you'll create a showroom that feels more like a destination than a store. You'll lead by example, building a high-performing team of Sofa Hosts while ensuring every customer enjoys a premium, personalised shopping experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role where performance and customer experience go hand in hand. You'll coach your team to exceed targets, maintain exceptional showroom standards, and create an environment that's bold, design-led, and unmistakably Sofa Club.

Every day, you'll live our values:

  • Change the Game – Challenge traditional retail and constantly look for better ways to serve our customers.
  • The Power of Us – Build a culture of collaboration, trust and accountability.
  • Own It – Take pride in every detail and lead with accountability.
  • Keep It Simple – Deliver seamless experiences for customers and your team.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading Your Team

  • Inspire, motivate and develop a team of Sofa Hosts to deliver exceptional customer experiences and commercial results.
  • Create a positive, high-energy culture where people feel supported, empowered and accountable.
  • Coach through regular feedback, development conversations and hands-on leadership.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop talented people who embody the Sofa Club culture.
  • Lead by example and build a team that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Encourage collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
