A Day in the Life
As the leader of your showroom and home visit service (where applicable), you will:
- Create a warm, professional, and inclusive work environment for both your team and customers.
- Take full ownership of the showroom’s commercial performance.
- Continuously look for ways to deliver better customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll need to:
- Drive commercial performance, including:
- Meeting targets for average order value
- Achieving strong customer conversion rates
- Handle payments and manage cash per company procedures
- Be aware of local market conditions and competitor activity
- Coach your team on:
- Delivering exceptional service standards
- Enhancing product knowledge
- Mastering upselling and cross-selling
- Ensure your team and workspace reflect the standards of a premium brand.
- Recruit, induct, and develop talent to represent HSL’s values.
- Conduct performance reviews, give feedback, and recognise achievements.
- Foster a welcoming environment that ensures safety, inclusivity, and positivity for all colleagues, customers, and visitors.

The Showroom Manager You
We’re looking for someone who:

- Serves as a key contact for the Area Manager, sharing insights and team feedback.
- Creates a supportive team culture where individuals thrive and grow.
- Implements meaningful training, coaching, and mentoring to help everyone succeed.
- Prioritises their own learning and development to stay abreast of new products and opportunities.
- Has a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Is a natural motivator who guides and inspires their team.
- Demonstrates strong commercial awareness and excels in identifying and growing sales opportunities.
