Showroom Sales Designer

Showroom Sales Designer – Total Plumbing

Location: Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom (SA18 2LF)

Do you thrive on creating stylish, practical spaces while delivering an exceptional customer experience? We’re looking for a Showroom Sales Designer to join our team and help customers bring their dream bathrooms to life.


What You’ll Be Doing

As a Showroom Sales Designer, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers visiting our branch. You’ll guide them through every step of the design and sales process—from consultation and planning to liaising with contractors and finalising installations.

You’ll also support the wider branch team in maintaining the showroom, handling stock, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This role is ideal for someone with:

  • An eye for design
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The confidence to engage with customers to turn ideas into reality

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Welcoming and advising customers in the branch and showroom.
  • Surveying, planning, and designing bathrooms tailored to customer needs.
  • Producing accurate quotations and coordinating ancillary work.
  • Arranging and attending home and site visits.
  • Liaising with approved contractors on installation agreements.
  • Ensuring the showroom is well-presented, clean, and inviting.
  • Handling telephone enquiries and customer orders.
  • Assisting with:
    • Stock processing
    • Deliveries
    • Routine stock checks
  • Maintaining company procedures for:
    • Goods inwards
    • Cash handling
    • Security
  • Supporting periodic stock takes and spot checks.
  • Promoting a safe, secure, and professional working environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • A flair for design with the ability to understand customer requirements.
  • Organised, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to:
    • Work effectively as part of a team
    • Work independently
  • Flexibility to attend site visits and liaise with contractors.

Working Hours

An average of 40.75 hours per week, typically:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Every other Saturday morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
