C.P. Hart is a long-established leader in premium bathroom design in the U.K., founded as a family business in 1937. It partners with renowned international designers and high-quality manufacturers, complemented by its own branded collections. Operating from 15 showrooms, including a 20,000 square foot flagship at London Waterloo, C.P. Hart designs, supplies, and arranges installation of bathrooms nationwide from its logistics hub in Dartford, Kent. Its Contracts division delivers bathroom solutions for residential and commercial developments, collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and builders across high-profile projects.

Role Description

The Showroom Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for leading day-to-day operations of a premium bathroom showroom. The role includes:

  • Managing and motivating the showroom sales team
  • Setting and monitoring sales targets
  • Ensuring an excellent customer experience from first contact through to aftersales
  • Overseeing product presentation and maintaining merchandising standards
  • Coordinating with designers to deliver tailored bathroom solutions for retail and trade clients
  • Managing the sales pipeline, preparing quotations, following up on leads
  • Supporting the wider Contracts and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Contributing to local marketing activities
  • Building relationships with architects and interior designers
  • Ensuring that company values and brand standards are consistently upheld

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Sales Management skills, with experience meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets in a showroom or retail environment.
  • Proven Customer Service and Communication abilities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and handling complex or high-value projects.
  • Experience working in Showrooms or similar premium retail spaces, ideally within interiors, bathrooms, kitchens, or related design-led sectors.
  • Track record of leading and developing teams, including coaching, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
  • Commercial awareness, strong negotiation skills, and confidence using CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications, with an eye for design and detail; experience working with architects and interior designers is advantageous.
  • Flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Relevant experience in retail or showroom management; a qualification in business, sales, design, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
