About the role
Working Monday to Friday from 13:30–22:00, you’ll play an important role in keeping the yard operating smoothly and safely.
You will be responsible for:
- Safely manoeuvring vehicles and trailers around the yard
- Carrying out basic vehicle inspections and following safety protocols
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers in line with site procedures
- Using approved hand signals and communication methods to coordinate movements
- Ensuring all activity is completed safely and efficiently
- Working closely with colleagues to support a smooth yard flow
- Reporting any issues or defects promptly to supervisors
About you
You’ll need at least 1 year of driving experience and feel confident operating vehicles in a controlled yard environment. Safety is your top priority, and you’re someone who pays attention to detail, follows procedures, and communicates clearly. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy hands-on work, working as part of a team, and keeping operations moving in a fast-paced setting.
