Job Description
As an Event Door Supervisor for SecurePro, you will get involved in securing important and exciting large-scale events such as sporting events, festivals, and music concerts. You will be joining a team responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people and premises at these events by providing a highly visible security/safety presence.
The team have been protecting people since 2013 and the opportunity to be close to the action and witness the artists perform up close and also be able to see live sports is what keeps them coming back for more.
Roles and Responsibilities
As this is typically a part-time role - flexibility is essential as many events may take place in the evenings or at weekends outside of normal working hours. You may be required to travel to attend different venues depending on where the event is taking place (optional transport is provided from SecurePro office in Stourbridge).
The types of duties/activities you could be doing include:
- Presenting at all times, a smart, alert and visible security presence at the event venue
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
- Greeting, assisting and directing people attending the event
- Searching people attending events (bag and body)
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
- Monitoring crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary
- Dealing with crowd disruptions (sometimes involving physically removing people where necessary)
- Hospitality duties in licenced areas
- Access control at entry and exit points
- Reporting any security incidents or concerns and dealing with emergency situations
- Traffic management
- Carrying out foot or vehicle patrols
- Responding to emergency situations and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

Note: Due to the nature and dynamics of the Security Industry, you may be required to perform any other task identified by a Company Director, Manager, Client, or nominated person.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- A polite and approachable manner at all times.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness and strength.
- A trustworthy character.
- A flexible and responsible approach to the job.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) Door Supervisor Licence
- ACT Awareness & ACT Security (dated in the last 12 months)
- Level 2 NVQ in Spectator Safety (this qualification can be provided for you if you do not hold one)
- Level 2 Award in Front of Stage PIT Barrier Operations (this qualification can be provided for you if you do not hold one)

Salary (April 2026 onwards)
All vacancies are PAYE positions and therefore accrue holiday pay (this is not rolled up into your pay):
- Event Door Supervisor: £14.00/hour (starting)
