SIA Gate Person
SIA Gate Person – Construction Site Security
We are looking for a professional and reliable SIA Licensed Gate Person to join our construction team.
The ideal candidate will ensure Site Security, Access Control, and Health & Safety Compliance while maintaining a professional, secure working environment for all visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Control site access and prevent unauthorised entry at all times
- Verify identification and credentials of visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers
- Sign-in/logout procedures for all individuals and deliveries
- Monitor the site entrance and conduct regular security spot checks
- Record and report any security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activity
- Maintain accurate registers for visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- Respond to emergencies appropriately, escalating concerns to site management
- Enforce all access procedures in line with health and safety regulations
- Provide a professional, courteous, and approachable frontline presence for all interactions

Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (either Door Supervisor or Security Guard)
- Valid CSCS Card (if applicable to the role)
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Previous security or gatekeeping experience (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of construction site health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional mindset
- Ability to work independently while supporting the team
