Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Signal Processing and algorithmic Systems Modelling Engineer to support the development of advanced communication, sensing and positioning technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with strong MATLAB/Simulink expertise and a background in algorithm development, RF systems, signal processing and system modelling.

Working closely with Architecture, Software, Systems and Quality teams, you will develop and validate system models, perform trade-off studies and contribute to the design of complex engineering solutions from concept through to verification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models for system-level modelling, simulation and performance analysis.
  • Design, develop and validate acquisition, tracking and signal processing algorithms.
  • Support Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) studies, including algorithm development, resilience analysis and system trade-offs.
  • Integrate AI tools into engineering, modelling, simulation and test activities to improve development efficiency and capability.
  • Perform RF system modelling, link budget analysis, sensitivity analysis and system trade-off studies.
  • Support the definition of Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and system architecture activities.
  • Assist in the capture, management and traceability of system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Produce technical reports and present simulation results and engineering recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Systems Engineering, Software, Firmware, RF and Quality functions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
