Role Description

Signal Processing Engineers at AirLogic Silicon Inc. work on the design, implementation, and optimization of low-power digital signal processing pipelines for advanced RF and mixed-signal hardware. In this full-time remote role, you will collaborate with IC designers and electromagnetic modeling specialists to co-design physical-layer architectures and DSP algorithms that enhance signal integrity, reception, and power efficiency.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing and simulating DSP algorithms
  • Creating hardware-aware implementations
  • Analyzing performance trade-offs
  • Validating designs against system requirements and real-world signal environments

You will contribute to modeling, verification, and optimization workflows, support integration with RFIC and metasurface-based receivers, and document design decisions, test results, and specifications for cross-functional teams. The role involves regular collaboration via remote tools, participation in design reviews, and continuous learning to apply state-of-the-art signal processing and communication theory.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in digital signal processing, including algorithm development, filter design, spectral analysis, and experience with low-power DSP architectures.
  • Proficiency in numerical computing and programming tools such as Python, MATLAB, C, or C++, with the ability to build robust simulation and analysis pipelines.
  • Knowledge of RF systems and communications theory, including modulation schemes, channel estimation, noise modeling, and signal integrity considerations.
  • Experience with hardware-aware design, including FPGA or ASIC-based implementation flows, fixed-point optimization, and performance/power trade-off analysis.
  • Familiarity with modeling and verification workflows, including use of CAD tools, scripting for automation, and data visualization for design validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to cross-disciplinary teams.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field is required; a PhD or equivalent research.
