SimCorp Business Analyst / SimCorp Consultant - London - OUTSIDE IR35
We are currently seeking an experienced SimCorp Business Analyst / SimCorp Consultant to join a leading investment management organisation on an initial 3-month contract.
OUTSIDE IR35
HYBRID WORKING - LONDON
3 months initially with a view to extend if the project is successful
This role will play a key part in a strategic data transformation programme, supporting the implementation of a new Snowflake-based data platform. The successful consultant will bring deep SimCorp Dimension expertise alongside strong business analysis skills, helping to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, data teams and technology teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme with the potential for a long-term extension beyond the initial contract period.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for SimCorp Dimension, supporting the design and implementation of a new Snowflake data model.
- Work closely with business, technology and data teams to gather, analyse and document requirements.
- Understand and document existing SimCorp data structures, processes and integrations.
- Define and map data flows between SimCorp and the target Snowflake environment.
- Analyse front, middle and back-office data requirements across investment operations.
- Produce high-quality business and functional documentation, including process flows, data mappings and user stories.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across operations, technology and data functions.
- Support data validation, reconciliation and testing activities.
- Work with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into the target data model.
- Identify gaps, risks and opportunities for process improvement throughout the programme.

Experience:

- Extensive Business Analysis experience within Asset or Investment Management.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of SimCorp Dimension.
- Strong understanding of investment data, including holdings, transactions, positions, cash, securities and reference data.
- Experience working on data transformation, data warehouse or data platform programmes.
- Proven experience defining data lineage, mappings and data models.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience working on Snowflake implementations or Snowflake data platforms.
- Knowledge of front, middle and back-office investment processes.
- Experience with investment accounting, IBOR/ABOR or performance data.
- Exposure to SQL, data analysis and reconciliation activities.
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes within Asset Management.
