Job Overview

An exciting secondment opportunity for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse has become available at our friendly Nephrology ward at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. This secondment will be for a 9 month period at 30 hours a week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse who is interested in gaining management experience and developing their leadership skills. Flexible working is available within the trust and this can be discussed.

Main duties of the job

On Ward 35 we care for patients with issues related to Renal failure and focus on holistic care, we also promote self-care, which enables and empowers our patients. Our aim is to provide a high quality standard of individualised care and treatment to our patients within a safe and supportive environment by friendly, competently trained staff.
