Job Role
VolkerStevin is seeking an organised and detail-focused individual to provide effective administrative and document control support to the security team.
The role involves the accurate management of project documentation, coordination of day-to-day office activities, and support in establishing and maintaining security processes on high-security projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reduce information security risks across the project.
- Support supply chain assurance, including security vetting and IT system reviews.
- Ensure all internal and supply chain personnel are security-cleared in line with requirements.
- Oversee supply chain security questionnaires and track any issues to resolution.
- Coordinate Security Aspects Letter (SAL) flow-down to maintain compliance.
- Promote secure information sharing and handling throughout the project.
- Ensure sensitive information and documents are stored securely to client standards.
- Maintain security risk logs and report issues, breaches, or near misses promptly.
- Deliver security briefings to ensure all project personnel understand and comply with security requirements.
- Support post-incident communication, including the delivery of Toolbox Talks where required.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project and the Deputy Security Controller.
- Liaise with local security organisations to ensure security information and processes are effectively communicated to the project team.

About You
- Previous administration experience
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail with experience handling documentation, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Experience managing multiple tasks such as document control, booking systems, invoicing support, or ticket management.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and respond quickly to operational needs.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be eligible to undergo and obtain Security Clearance (SC)
- Candidates must hold a valid full UK driving licence and be willing to travel as required.
