Site Administrator

We are looking for a proactive and organised Site Administrator to join our Timberpak site in Leeds on a part-time basis. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting the day-to-day running of our busy operation while ensuring smooth administration and excellent customer service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a role with consistent morning hours and some flexibility, we would love to hear from you.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm (with flexibility to provide additional cover for holidays required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and efficient weighing of all vehicles in and out of site, ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining precise records at all times.
  • Ensuring all delivery and collection drivers have correct paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and on-site procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions to support site operations.
  • Operate SAP systems, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipting.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Liaise with internal and external drivers to ensure smooth communication.
  • Handle customer queries, including coordinating bin exchanges and providing quotations.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
  • Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support, including minute taking.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and maintain office supplies.
  • Support purchasing activities and ensure cost-effective procurement of consumables.
  • Deliver basic SAP training to colleagues where required.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.

About You

  • Experience in an administrative or similar role, ideally within a waste management, logistics, or operational environment.
  • Preferable experience of weighbridge operations (training can be provided however).
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using SAP or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support holiday and sickness cover when required.
