About the Role
As a Site Agent, you’ll play a core operational role, contributing to every phase (tendering, design, construction, commissioning and handover) of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

- Collaborate with design and commercial teams to optimise delivery efficiency, identify opportunities and manage risk
- Manage the project site, ensuring works are completed:
- Safely
- On time
- On budget
- To the required quality standards
- Oversee site-level procurement, subcontractor logistics and Health and Safety (H&S) reporting
- Keep clients informed on project progress and address concerns proactively
- Act as the Temporary Works Coordinator, ensuring temporary works comply with design specifications
Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- CSCS card
- SSSTS (Site Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification
- HNC, Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to solve problems efficiently
- Clear communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across sites in the North East
