Site Agent £60,000-80,000 Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Permanent Full-time Suffolk, England
Are you an experienced Site Agent or Senior Engineer ready to take the next step in your career on major civil engineering and infrastructure projects?
Do you enjoy leading teams, taking ownership of challenging schemes and seeing projects through from planning to successful completion? If you're looking for a role where your expertise will be trusted, your contribution recognised and your career genuinely supported, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Our client is a well-established and highly respected civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Site Agent to join their delivery team on a long-term infrastructure project.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of your own section of works while working alongside an experienced management team on technically challenging projects. You'll be given the autonomy to make decisions, lead from the front and develop your career within a business that actively promotes from within.
The Role
As Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of your allocated section of works, ensuring projects are completed on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with Project Managers, commercial teams and site engineers, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that leave a lasting legacy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
