Bristol, UK

Talented people are the key to our success.

Would you like to work for an inclusive, collaborative business that is delivering some of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects?

We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our team on the MetroWest programme, leading the delivery of a key railway station package. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role on a high-profile rail project, managing works from construction through to successful completion.

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery, ensuring programme, commercial and operational objectives are achieved. Collaborating closely with clients, supply chain partners, and project teams, you will play a vital role in enhancing regional connectivity and delivering lasting benefits to local communities.

This position offers the opportunity to further develop your leadership capabilities while contributing to a complex and rewarding rail infrastructure programme.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the safe and successful delivery of railway station construction works.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and construction sequencing.
  • Monitor programme performance and proactively manage risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure robust commercial management, including cost control and change management.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, Network Rail representatives and supply chain partners.
  • Support project reporting and provide clear progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
