Site Agent
About The Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Site Agent to join our Balfvac team.
For over 90 years, our business has been delivering innovative structural repair, strengthening, protection and maintenance solutions to sustainably extend the life of our nation's infrastructure.
Our clients include National Highways as well as some of the major local authorities across the UK. Whilst our key focus is on transport infrastructure, we also provide professional services across power, energy, industrial, defence, coastal & marine sectors.
With an ever-increasing portfolio and a major expansion planned, we are looking to identify several talented individuals (Contracts Engineers, Site Agents, Project Managers & Specialist Services Engineers) based across the country to join this high-octane, energy-driven team.
What you'll be doing
As a Site Agent, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Manage the project team and supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost, and quality targets and standards
- Ensure adherence to the Company procedures and policies (i.e., the Business Management System)
- Understand the relevant contract terms and conditions for the project
- Ensure works are constructed in accordance with the contract drawings, specification, and Project Management Plan
- Manage site dimensional control, ensuring contractors have the necessary facilities for setting out works
- Produve all site documentation (including PMP, PVPMP, ITP, Construction Phase Management Plan, etc.) for project delivery
- Produce and review construction methods statements and risk assessments, ensuring works are constructed efficiently and safely
- Develop scheme programmes and deliver against them, monitoring progress and productivity

Who we're looking for
Successful candidates should have:
- Experience in the delivery of structural repair/specialist repair projects
- Experience in infrastructure schemes
- Ability to manage teams efficiently
- Ability to manage individual scheme costs
- Health and Safety management skills, including Behavioural Safety
- Ability to lead, communicate, and influence others to meet targets
