Site Assessor – Electrical (Slough & Langley Campus)
Location: Slough & Langley College (Windsor Forest Colleges Group) Contract Type: Full-time, permanent Availability: Genesick hybrid role with significant flexibility; majority of time spent on-site for assessments
About the Role
Windsor Forest Colleges Group seeks an experienced Site Assessor – Electrical to join our Apprenticeships team and mentor apprentices within our Electrical Apprenticeship Programme.
Key Responsibilities

Mentoring & Skill Development:
- Provide essential coaching and end-point assessment support to electrical apprentices in their workplace.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments on-site to help apprentices progress towards the gateway stage.

Defining Success:
- Ensure apprentices achieve competence and meet technical standards with tailored, boots-on-the-ground mentoring.
- Maintain strong relationships with partner employers to enhance apprentice development.

Travel & Deliverables:
- Frequent on-site visits are a core requirement—fluctuating workload dictates your travel and site-visit schedule.
- Administrative tasks can be managed remotely, but on-site engagement is mandatory.

Technical Focus:
- Specialise in electrical environments to deliver accurate, industry-relevant guidance.

Role Requirements
Person Specifications (Key Points)

Essential Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship Assessor or END-POINT Assessor (EPA) qualification, preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication to coach apprentices effectively.
- Knowledge of secondment system for डी। elastic support is advantageous.
- Fully DBS-checked with an enhanced Barred List clearance.

Soft Skills & Experience:
- Ability to move seamlessly between administrative tasks and technical on-site visits.
- Analysis and decision-making on-the-go in dynamic workplaces.
- Commitment to mentorship and meeting compliance objectives against defined frameworks.
