Assessment Centre Reception Officer
About the Role
Work with Maximus, a global organisation specialising in health and employment services, directly impacting millions of lives each year. As UK office front-face for Assessment Centres, you’ll manage customer experience, support clients, and ensure seamless operations.
- Customer-centric face of Assessment Centre
- Provide critical support to clients and healthcare professionals
- Maintain high operational standards and excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Front-line role: Handle all visitor/client interactions, maintaining professional, compassionate care
- Customer support:
- Answer PIP assessment inquiries
- Process expense claims related to attendance
- Operational excellence:
- Daily readiness management (equipment, supplies, centre appearance)
- Ordering restock requirements
- Appointment system maintenance:
- Manage arrival boards with accurate updates
- Healthcare professional support:
- Maintain IT-related handover with escalation procedures
- General administrative duties (phone, copying, documentation)
- Flexibility & travel:
- Cover shifts at alternate centres if needed

Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Empathy and communication: Understand claimant needs
- Organisational skills: Ensure seamless operations daily
- Microsoft Office proficiency: Routine administrative tasks
- Customer service experience: proficiency in front facing roles
- Adaptability: Resilience and constructive problem-solving
- Precision: Errors-free documentation collation
- Collaboration: Confirmed teamwork in medical/non-medical teams
- Attention to detail: Ensure all processes meet operational standards

£26,227.50 (Fixed rate)
