Site Director Opportunity in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK
Metric Bio are partnered with a Biomedical Research / Medical Diagnostics company at the forefront of innovation, as they seek to add a Site Director to their rapidly growing team, on-site, in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK.
This is a senior leadership role with full end-to-end accountability across manufacturing, QA/RA, supply chain, and operational performance, alongside ownership of the operational cost base and people strategy.

You’d lead a multi-disciplinary team (including Ops, Quality, HR and Finance leaders) while working closely with the CEO and wider group leadership to scale the business in a regulated, high-quality environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong operations leadership experience in biotech / pharma / regulated life sciences
- A proven track record managing quality-driven environments (including QA/RA and inspections)
- Commercial and financial ownership of operations (budgets, capex, efficiency)
- The ability to build scalable systems and lead through growth and complexity
